Safety Information
Each film coated tablet contains: Acetaminophen 500 mg Analgesic (Pain Reliever) / Antipyretic (Fever Reducer); Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg Nasal Decongestant; Caffeine 25 mg Mild Stimulant.
Adults 18 years and older: Take 2 film coated tablets every 6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 8 film coated tablets/24 hours. Elderly: Take 2 film coated tablets every 6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 6 film coated tablets/24 hours. Children (under 18 years): Do not use. Do not exceed the recommended dose nor take more than 4 times per day. Do not administer more than 7 consecutive days, if your symptoms don’t improve or pain and fever persist for more than 3 days or you are breastfeeding, without medical advice. Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time to relieve the symptoms.
Do not use if you are allergic to acetaminophen, caffeine, phenylephrine, or any of the other ingredients. You are taking, or have taken in the past two weeks, drugs called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
Contains Acetaminophen. Don’t use this medicine if you are taking any medicines containing acetaminophen, or for the relief of cold and flu, congestion or blocked nose. Don’t drink alcohol (wine, beer, spirits) whilst taking this medicine. Avoid using this product altogether or limit the amount of acetaminophen that you take. Don’t take more than recommended dose of this medicine as acetaminophen overdose may cause serious harm to your liver. Always read and follow the label. Check with your doctor before use if: you have been diagnosed with a liver or kidney impairment. You have a severe infection, are malnourished, underweight or are a chronic heavy alcohol user as this may increase the risk of metabolic acidosis. You have heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, enlargement of the prostate gland, diabetes, glaucoma, (a tumor near the kidney), blood vessel disease. To avoid sleeplessness, take the last dose of the day some hours before going to sleep, it can produce nervousness and sleeping problems. Contains sunset yellow which may cause allergic-type reactions.
Check with your doctor before use if: you are taking medicines to control your blood pressure (beta-blockers), antidepressants (such as tricyclic - amitriptyline), for heart disease (digoxin), for acute migraine headache (ergotamine, methysergide), for anxiety or sleeping or that contains amphetamines or to lose weight (anorectics), warfarin or similar medicines (anticoagulants), lithium. This medicine contains caffeine, avoid taking with products that contain caffeine (tea or coffee).
When using this medicine, you may experience: Headache, dizziness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, increased blood pressure, nausea and vomiting. If this cause dizziness, don’t drive or operate machinery. Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor immediately if you experience: Allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching, sometimes with breathing problems or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat or face. Peeling or mouth ulcers. You experience skin reactions like Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis or Acute Generalized Exanthematic Pustulosis. Breathing problems with acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and experience a similar reaction with this product. You experience unexplained bruising or bleeding. Loss of vision caused by high pressure in the eye. Unusually fast pulse rate, or irregular heartbeat. Difficult in urinating. These reactions are rare.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of accidental overdose: Seek medical advice immediately even if you do not have any symptoms because of the risk of liver failure.
This medicine may cause dizziness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store below 30°C. Use only if the pouch is intact. Free sale. Oral use.
