PRODUCT INFORMATION

Each Panadol Rapid Tablet contains: Active Ingredient: Acetaminophen 500mg Effect: analgesic (pain relief) / antipyretic (reduces fever). Excipient csp 1 tablet.

DOSAGE INFORMATION

Adults (12 years and older): Oral administration 2 tablets every 6 hours. Use the lowest effective dose needed to treat your symptoms for the least amount of time possible. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours. Its use is not recommended in children under the age of 12. Do not administer the recommended dose to adults more than 4 times a day or for more than 10 consecutive days. Do not exceed the declared dose.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use if you are allergic to acetaminophen or any other one of the product’s ingredients.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Contains acetaminophen. Do not use this medication if you are taking other medications that contain acetaminophen for pain, fever, cold or flu symptoms or as sleep aids. An excessive dose of acetaminophen can cause serious damage to the liver. Always read and follow label statements. Consult with your physician if: you have liver or kidney problems, are taking any medication or are under medical treatment, is pregnant, have a serious infection, are very underweight or consume high amounts of alcohol, since it is possible that you have to avoid the use of the product completely or limit the amount of acetaminophen you take, given it may increase the risk of metabolic acidosis, whose symptoms include: agitated breathing, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite. Consult with your physician if you present a combination of these symptoms, the pain and fever persist for more than 3 days, worsen, or new symptoms appear. This product may be used during breastfeeding. Consider taking the lowest effective dose for the least amount of time necessary. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICATIONS

Consult with your physician if you are taking warfarin or similar medications.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Stop using if: You have allergic reactions on the skin, respiratory issues, swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or throat, peeling or ulcers in the mouth; hematomas or unexplainable bleeding. If you experience skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, or Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis. You have previously suffered breathing problems upon consuming acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and experience similar reactions. These reactions are rare.

OVERDOSES

If you exceed the recommended dose: Consult with your physician immediately even if you do not present any symptoms because of the risk of liver failure.
