Panadol Cold & Flu Vapour Release + Decongestant*

Disclaimer

• Do not use if you have known or previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, phenylephrine,ascorbic acid or any other ingredient in this product
  
• Do not use if you are taking, or have taken, within the last two weeks, monoamine oxidase inhibitors
  
• Do not be used with other paracetamol-containing products, decongestants, or cough and flu medicines.
  
• Do not use for more than 7 days without medical advice. The hazard of overdose is greater in those with non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease. May be harmful to teeth.

Seek medical advice before taking this product if:

• Concomitant use of other sympathomimetic decongestants.
  Phaeochromocytoma.
  Closed angle glaucoma.
  An enlargement of the prostate gland.
  Hepatic or renal impairment, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and cardiovascular disease.
  Not to be given to children under 16 years of age except on medical advice.
• You have Hypertension, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, Angle closure glaucoma,Phaeochromocytoma, An enlargement of the prostate gland, Closed-angle Glucoma (e.g. Raynaud’s Phenomenon),Liver and kidney impairment, glutathione depleted states such as sepsis
  
• You are taking beta-blockers and other antihypertensive drugs or tricyclic antidepressants
  
• This product should not be used by patients taking other sympathomimetics (such as decongestants, appetite suppressants and AMP-like psychostimulants). Have Glutathione depletion due to metabolic deficiencies. You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
  
• If symptoms persist, consult a doctor
  
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Caution is advised if paracetamol is administered concomitantly with flucloxacillin due to increased risk of high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), particularly in patients with severe renal impairment, sepsis, malnutrition, and other sources of glutathione deficiency (e.g. chronic alcoholism), as well as those using maximum daily doses of paracetamol. Close monitoring, including measurement of urinary 5-oxoproline, is recommended.
• Patients should be advised not to drive or operate machinery if affected by dizziness.

Use with caution if you are:

• Taking digoxin and cardiac glycosides.
• Taking ergot alkaloids (e.g. ergotamine and methysergide).
• Taking beta-blockers and other antihypertensive drugs.
• Taking tricyclic antidepressants.
• Diabetic or have any intolerance to some sugars as this product contains sucrose 3.755gm/sachet and saccharine sodium 10mg/sachet.
• Phenylketonuria patient as it contains aspartame 50mg/sachet (a source of phenylalanine)
