The active ingredient in Panadol Actifast is paracetamol (500mg per tablet). Panadol Actifast also contain sodium bicarbonate (each tablet contains 173mg of sodium/346mg sodium per 2 tablet dose), which should be taken into account by those on a low-sodium diet, and potassium sorbate (a preservative).
