The right dosage of Panadol Colourfree Suspension 5-12 Years to give your child will depend on their age and/or weight. Use our simple chart below to match your child's weight (or their age if you don’t know their weight) to the correct dosage for that group. 

If your child weighs less than 18kg (or is under 1 year of age) or more than 41kg, please consult your doctor about adjusting the dosage amount to suit them. The recommended dosage for Children's Panadol Colourfree Suspension 5-12 Years is 15mg of paracetamol for every kilogram of your child’s body weight, so it’s important to follow the dosage instructions on the bottle.

Do not give your child more than 4 doses in one day or within any 24-hour period, unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.

Panadol Colourfree Suspension is easy to use. Simply follow these quick steps:

Children’s Panadol products do not contain sugar.

Warnings and precautions for usei

  • Always read the product label before use and do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Panadol rarely has side effects when taken at the recommended dose, however if your child does experience any side effects as a result of taking Panadol Colourfree Suspension, stop use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
  • Panadol Colourfree Suspension 5-12 Years contains paracetamol. It should not be used alongside any other products that contain paracetamol, as combining paracetamol-based medicines may lead to an overdose. Always read the product label on any other medication you plan to give your child in combination with Panadol before use, and consult with a doctor or pharmacist to check that it is safe to do so.
  • Note that Panadol Colourfree Suspension 5-12 Years contains hydroxybenzoates, sucralose, sorbitol (5.98g/52 mL) and maltitol (19.29g/52 mL) which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
  • Each Panadol Colourfree Suspension 5-12 Years contains maltitol and sorbitol liquid. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine. Contains 371mg/mL sorbitol.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
