The right dosage of Panadol Suppositories to give your baby or child will depend on their age and/or weight. Use our simple dosage chart below to match your child's weight (or their age if you don’t know their weight) to the correct dose for that group.
If your child weighs less than 8kg (or is under 6 months of age) or more than 18kg, please consult your doctor about adjusting the dose to suit them.
Do not give your child more than 4 doses of Panadol Suppositories for their age/weight group in one day or within any 24-hour period, unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
Consult a doctor before giving Panadol Suppositories to children aged under two years.

How to use Panadol Suppositories
Panadol Suppositories are designed in a solid, cylindrical shape, so they can be easily inserted into the rectum to dissolve and release paracetamol.
Simply insert the suppository into the rectum, larger/thicker end first. For ease of insertion, the suppository can be moistened first.

Active ingredient: paracetamol. Panadol Suppositories for children aged six months to five years contain 125mg paracetamol per suppository.
